The highlights of Tuscany, starting from Florence and arriving to Siena, passing through the Chianti Classico.

A day in Florence, home to museums, art galleries and culture.
Take a ride through the city streets and soak in the marvelous architecture of the buildings and monuments that surround you.
Some places you shouldn’t miss are Galleria degli Uffizi, Galleria dell’Accademia, Il Duomo, Piazza della Santa Croce, Piazza del Palazzo Vecchio, Giardini Boboli and the famous Pontevecchio.

Leaving Panzano by the Chiantigiana local road, you will be moving south along the Chianti Classico area through tracks and roads, you’ll be visiting the villages of Radda in Chianti and Castellina in Chianti, both worth visiting, until you reach the village of Gaiole in Chianti where you will stop and overnight.

You will leave Gaiole and continue the journey crossing the Chianti Classico vineyards and cellars towards the medieval Siena, on your way, you’ll be partially riding through the route of the historic bike race known as l’Eroica.

Day 1 – Arrive in Florence

A day in Florence, home to museums, art galleries and culture.

Take a ride through the city streets and soak in the marvelous architecture of the buildings and monuments that surround you. Some places you shouldn’t miss are Galleria degli Uffizi, Galleria dell’Accademia, Il Duomo, Piazza della Santa Croce, Piazza del Palazzo Vecchio, Giardini Boboli and the famous Pontevecchio.

In the evening, have a nice stroll and feel the animated ambient of Florence’s night life with locals and tourists, a multicultural blend of people looking for the same, a taste of the superb local cuisine and the peace and magic of a place full of history…

Afterwards, relax in your charming room, have a nice hot shower and a good night’s rest before your tour starts….

Day 2 – Florence to Panzano 37 Km / 22 Mi

You will leave Florence from the south bank of the Arno river, up to Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the majestic panoramic views over the City.

A last view and farewell to this amazing Reinassance city before you take the local Chiantigiana road that will take you to Panzano in Chianti passing through the small fortified village of Greve. It will be a ride of nearly 39 km with ascents and descents through the most renowed vineyards of the Chianti area and will take you about 4 hrs. The terrain is paved.

Day 3 – Panzano to Gaiole 38 Km / 23 Mi

Leaving Panzano by the Chiantigiana local road, you will be moving south along the Chianti Classico area through tracks and roads, you’ll be visiting the villages of Radda in Chianti and Castellina in Chianti, both worth visiting, until you reach the village of Gaiole in Chianti where you will stop and overnight.
It will be a ride of nearly 39 km with ascents and descents, the beautiful landscape of vineyards, Olive groves and medieval castles will be your travel companion all the way long. It will you about 4 hrs.
There are 2 options for this route, option one is all paved. Option 2 is partially unpaved.

Day 4 – Gaiole to Siena 31 Km / 19.5 Mi

You will leave Gaiole and continue the journey crossing the Chianti Classico vineyards and cellars towards the medieval Siena, on your way, you’ll be partially riding through the route of the historic bike race known as l’Eroica, the importance of this race in Tuscany is enormous, it was born to protect the territory of Tuscany and its unspoiled local, paved and unpaved roads.
One stop at Castello di Brolio, an impressive Chianti Castle with amazing views over the countryside, home of one of the most important Chianti wines, where you can taste or may buy a bottle or two !
It will be a ride of nearly 31 km, along the route you will find a natural progression of gentle uphills and it will take you about 4 hrs.
There are 2 options for this route, option one is all paved. Option 2 is partially unpaved.

Day 5 – Departure from Siena

Start your morning in Piazza del Campo, the heart of the city, and climb the Torre del Mangia for sweeping views. Visit the stunning Siena Cathedral (Duomo) with its intricate marble floors, then stroll through the medieval streets to soak in the atmosphere. Pause for lunch with local specialties like pici pasta, and spend the afternoon exploring hidden alleys, artisan shops, and the city’s historic contrade. End your day with a sunset walk along the city walls for a perfect Tuscan panorama.
